Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Norfolk Christian Schools. You are in the process of making a big decision to entrust us with the precious lives of your children. We take our role as educators very seriously, and we pray daily that our larger purpose, raising students to be Ambassadors for Christ, will be fulfilled to His glory.

Please join us for a Head, Hands & Heart tour, an Open House or peruse the pages of our website.

"Where I'm From"

Last fall, our 8th graders went on a journey to learn where they were from, based on a writing project by poet George Ella Lyon. Their results were breathtaking. Mesmerized by poem after poem, we began to wonder – what sights, sounds, memories defined our students’ experiences at Norfolk Christian? That thought became the basis of the “Where I’m From” video, involving students from pre-K through 12th grade.

To read some of our students’ original works and to see a written version of the poem compiled about Norfolk Christian, please click here.

NCS alums - we are on our way to you!

Norfolk Christian's Head of School Pat McCarty is heading to the Charlottesville, Harrisonburg and Blacksburg areas at the end of the month just to check in with our alums.  We can't bring you Mom’s cooking but we can give you the next best thing -- a free meal!

So mark the date and please, come spend a little time with Pat and your Norfolk Christian friends.  We hope to catch up on your lives and connect you with other grads around campus and around the area.
