Learning their Craft

Instrumental instruction begins in lower school where fourth and fifth grade students can choose band and strings electives.  In middle school, sixth and seventh grade band, strings, and drumline electives are available. More intensive study carries students through high school with opportunities to participate in Concert Band and Wind Ensemble as well as pep band, jazz band and high school drum line. Our early emphasis on fundamentals trains students to be disciplined musicians who take joy in sharpening their skills.

Community

In addition to twice-yearly concerts, student-musicians have many opportunities during the year to share their talents. From athletic competitions, chapels, pep rallies and formal events for the NCS family to community performances for a wide variety of local organizations, our bands use their gifts to spread the Ambassador spirit all year long.
